Hospitality & foodPlaces people want to be in.

A resort, a coffee brand and a supper club hosted at home. All three sell a feeling before they sell a booking, so the design problem is the same: build desire first, then make the next step effortless.

Resort, Bengaluru

Sree Raaga Resorts

Sree Raaga is a resort near Bengaluru airport that does a lot at once: villas and rooms, weddings, corporate offsites, coworking and day outings. The site has to feel like a retreat while sending each kind of visitor to the right place.

Key decisions

  • Treated one resort as several products: stays, weddings, offsites and day outings each get their own path from the first menu.
  • Turned six reasons to choose the resort into six next steps, so persuasion always ends in an action.
  • Kept Book a room, Enquire and Call us within reach, since high-value bookings often end in a conversation.
  • Built pages around searches for stays near the airport, meeting people at the moment they need the place.

Specialty coffee, India

Araba Coffee

Araba is a specialty coffee brand built on Indian heritage, and its site speaks to two people: the guest looking for a café and the investor looking at a franchise. The brand had to stay warm for one and credible for the other.

Key decisions

  • Designed for two audiences at once: guests looking for a café and investors assessing a franchise.
  • Built the brand story around origin, giving a coffee brand something competitors can’t easily copy.
  • Gave franchising its own route and call to action, so the business goal never competes with the guest experience.
  • Kept it in WordPress, so the team can update menus and stories themselves.

Supper club, Bengaluru

The Vaazhai Table

Vaazhai Table is a supper club that seats ten strangers at a time for a two-hour evening of food, stories and art. Tickets sell out, so the site has to explain something unfamiliar quickly and keep people following for the next table.

Key decisions

  • Made ticket status the first thing you see, and gave sold-out visitors something to do: follow for the next table.
  • Told the evening step by step, because an unfamiliar format has to be understood before it can be bought.
  • Put reviews and press close to the offer, since strangers need proof before joining a dinner in someone’s home.
  • Wrote FAQs around first-timer worries, answering them before they become reasons to leave.
